About the WRDT AM-560 Mission and Ministry Book Club

We want to support your faith journey in a tangible way, through the reading of faith-based books.

Each month a book group will be selected to receive the book of the month. Whether you’re an established book club or reading group, or perhaps you want to start one – we want to help! We will curate an inspiring book from a local or national ministry, then if your club is selected, we will send you 10 copies.

Entries can be submitted thorough the 20th of the month. The recipient will be selected by the 25th of the month. The books will be mailed to you before the end of the month.Mission and Ministry Book Club logo

When Parenting Isn’t Perfect by Jim Daly

Jim believes that our quest for perfection, a quest that he believes is particularly strong among Christians, runs counter to God’s own boundless gift of grace. We can become Pharisaical parents, quoting endless rules and holding everyone to impossible standards. But God doesn’t want us, and our kids don’t need us, to be perfect. As parents, we’re called to simply do our best. And when we fail–which we will–we’re called to try again tomorrow.
